Today, on World AIDS Day, we come together and raise our voices for greater awareness, education, and support. Let’s continue to break the stigma surrounding HIV, promote testing and prevention, and stand in solidarity with those living with the virus. Every step we take brings us closer to a world without AIDS. Together, we can create a future of hope, compassion, and health for all.
AIDS is a syndrome caused by HIV, which weakens the immune system by damaging CD4 cells. It spreads through infected bodily fluids like blood, semen, vaginal fluids, breast milk, or shared needles, including sexual transmission. While there is no cure, early treatment can slow disease progression and help patients live normally.
