The pandemic of COVID-19 these past years and now may seems getting closer to its end and all the sectors of life around the world are going to re-established again. But, through these years there are many aspects of mental health have been challenged. Actually, even before the pandemic in 2019 an estimated one in eight people globally were already live with a mental disorder and it was getting worse through the pandemic. In the other side, the service, skills, and funding available for the mental health getting decreased as time passed. 800,000 people die by suicide globally every year and globally and mental health issues are the cause of their death. This issue is due to lack of awareness in mental health as an important issue.
Today, 10th October, 2022, The theme for World Mental Health Day 2022 by the World Federation for Mental Health is ‘Make Mental Health & Well-being for All a Global Priority’ which reminds all of us around the world to start taking our part to look our surroundings, and start to be aware and raise the awareness about mental health. We could also be the one to start break the false stigma and discrimination about mental health and promote the care access to pursue a better life, starting from ourselves to the bigger society and reach the global awareness. Let’s make mental health and well-being a global priority for all!
