AMSA-Unhas’ Local Exchange 2022 is an activity that was organized by External Relation Division AMSA-Unhas for 3 days, started from 24th to 27th March 2022, with the theme "Forensic: Unfolding Crime Events Through Autopsies and Medicolegal Studies". This event was in collaboration with 3 AMSA-universities, they’re AMSA-UGM, AMSA-Unpad, and AMSA-Usakti.
The main item of this event was all about forensic and medicolegal study which was packaged into a sexual abuse and a murder case scenario of a 20 years old, Sahara Aurora. The delegates were also playing a role of a forensic doctor who helped to unfold this case.
On the first day, the delegates watched two videos about the murder case, which called Case #B005, to collect clues and evidence about this case. To get to know about the case better, the delegates also needed to know about the city where the victim lives, which is Makassar. Therefore, there was a Linguistic Class that the delegates attended to increase their knowledge about Makassar. The delegates were also invited to walk around Hasanuddin University through a vlog hosted by Sahara Aurora itself. Each video and place have their own clue, so the delegates needed to be focus to collect all the evidences
On the second day, 26th March 2022, the event started with another playback video about Case #B005, followed by a lecture from Dr. dr. Berti J. Nelwan, M.Kes, Sp.PA, Sp.F, DFM., about Traumatology, Tanatology, and Sexual Violence. After that, the class continued with “CSL: Visum et Repertum” and Focus Group Discussion brought by Dr. dr. Hj. Annisa Anwar Muthaher, S.H., M.Kes., Sp.FM. After a brain draining session, the delegates then joined the City Tour Video and played some games. The second day was then closed with another playback video to help the delegates collect more evidences.
On the last day, Charity Talkshow session that talked about “Sexual Violence: Fight Back Through Medic and Law” from Mrs. Sondang Frishka, S.H, LL.M and dr. Denny Matius M.Kes, Sp. F. After that, the delegates took part in the Group Case Decision, Law Court, and The Truth sessions as the final result of Case #B005 that had been carried out by the delegates from the first day.
We thank the delegates from AMSA-UGM, AMSA-Unpad, and AMSA-Usakti for their extraordinary participation and enthusiasm in AMSA-Unhas’ Local Exchange 2022. Hopefully the friendship that has been established can last forever and we can meet again on another event.
