AMSEP Indonesia For Japan 2022 hosted virtually by AMSA-Unhas for 4 days, starting on 24th - 25th September and 1st - 2nd October 2022. The theme for this event was "Arigatou", an abbreviation for 'Analyzing and Investigating the Body through Evidence and Medicolegal'.
On the first day, the delegates from Japan learned the Indonesian language through the linguistic class. Also, they learned about forensics through a case they will proceed with during this event. The next day, the event started with Dr. Cahyono Kaelan, PhD, Sp.PA(K), Sp.S(K) with a lecture about Traumatology and Thanatology and clinical skill lab class about 'Visum et Repertum'. On the third day, the delegates gained insights about Domestic Violence and Its Impact during a talk show with dr. Denny Mathius M.Kes, Sp.F. The delegates also got the opportunity to present their poster and gained clues about the case through playing games on this day. Moving to the last day, the delegates successfully finished the case and found the perpetrator. On the last day, outstanding performances were delivered by the delegates and the committees. The delegates were given awards and spent the last friendship hour sharing feelings about all the memorable times after spending precious 4 days with us through Padlet time.
Through this event, a lot of new experience and knowledge was gained by the delegates and us AMSA-Unhas as the host university. Thank you to all the participants during this event. We hope the precious and memorable moments we shared through this opportunity will last forever!
