For this year's Ambassador of Public Health, AMSA-Unhas is proud to have Argatria Michelle Gracia and her #ShakeNotShame campaign against the stigma and misconception of the lesser known non-communicable disease, epilepsy. Over the course of 7 days, Arga campaigned to spread awareness and information about epilepsy.

On Friday, September 21st 2018, Arga interviewed dr. Andi Weri Sompa,M.Kes.,Sp.S, chief of PERPEI (Perhimpunan Penanggulangan Epilepsi Indonesia) Makassar for the AMSA-Unhas podcast. They talked about epilepsy and how it affected society, Arga also had the opportunity to talk about her campaign.

On Sunday, September 23rd 2018, Arga did a campaign on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Makassar during car free day. She talked to many people of all ages and professions, where she discovered the misconceptions that were popularly held by the public. Arga attempted to correct these misconceptions, giving them factual information regarding epilepsy and hoped that they would spread the information.

After the campaign on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Arga, together with AMSA-Unhas, PERPEI, and PERDOSSI, had a sharing session with epileptic survivors, Mr. Bayu and Mrs. Ima, accompnaied by dr. Andi Weri Sompa, M. Kes., Sp.S. as the Chief of PERPEI Makassar and Nurhaya Nurdin S.Kep.Ns.MN.MPH as the Founder of Komunitas Epilepsi Indonesia. After the sharing session, she gave out some goodie bags and medicine boxes which were specifically designed by AMSA-Unhas for Epileptic survivors, so they would always remember to take their medicine.

On Tuesday, September 25th 2018, Arga spoke to medical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University at Lecture Theatre 5. She shared her knowledge about the disease, how it affected society, and what medical students could do about it.

On Wednesday, September 26th 2018, Arga talked at Madama Radio 87.7 FM and EBS FM UNHAS 107.2 MHz about epilepsy and her campaign.

A lot of work and effort was put into the campaign, but everything was paid off because Arga became one of the individuals who would become the Ambassador of Public Health (APH) AMSA-Indonesia 2018/2019.

Our 8 delegates attended Rapat Kerja Nasional that was held from 17th-19th of August 2018 at University of Muhammadiyah Malang, East Java.

On the first day, after the delegates arrived at the hotel, a lecture was held there. Our delegates attended welcoming party with a red and white dress code. There, a presidium selection was done and one of our delegates, Roynaldi Octa Hosea, was selected as one of the presidium.

On the second day, our delegates attended rakernas in GKB4 in UMM Malang, we wore our alma-mater proudly. The first agenda was the decree of Presidium and EB of AMSA-Indonesia 2018/2019. Then, they announce their work programs. After that, each university told their own work programs. Next, bidding NLT and MUNAS were done. Farewell party was held in Sengkaling Kuliner with navy white dress code. Rapat Tatap Muka was held after that to conclude the place for NLT is UPH and the place for MUNAS is UNAIR.

On the third day, the delegates did a social act in Markas Veteran Rampal, where medical check was done to geriatrics and campaign about osteoporosis was brought by Rebecca Olivia, our Secretary of Community Outreach AMSA-Indonesia 2018/2019. After that, the delegates was brought to Museum Angkut in Batu, Malang.
